The sections of roadway have significant pavement failures causing numerous longitudinal and transverse cracks to the asphalt and poor or no drainage facilities which contributes to pavement edge erosion. There is also a need for a sidewalk along 7th Street to provide access to the governmental services, businesses, restaurants, and recreational park (Loges).

Project Description
This project will provide stormwater and utility enhancements, and roadway improvements with pedestrian curb bump outs. Project will grind roadway and reshape to establish cross slope before paving 2' overlay. Project will also install a sidewalk along the west side of 7th Street from Railroad Avenue to 1st Avenue to address the community need.
