Yakima Valley Highway is a two lane, high speed roadway that use to be the main road between Yakima and the lower Yakima Valley prior to I-82 being built. Each travel lane is 12 and has a 5 paved shoulder and no sidewalk. The existing asphalt surfacing is in poor condition.
