2015 Call for Projects Announced
June 1, 2015 - TIB's annual Call for Projects is now open
The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) is pleased to announce its 2015 Call for Projects (FY 2017). Grant applications are now available. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, August 21, 2015, and grant awards will be announced after the November 20, 2015 board meeting.

Target funding levels have been set by the board. These levels may be altered based on revenue forecasts and legislative outcomes. Funding levels for each program are:

Program Amount
Urban Arterial Program $87 Million
Urban Sidewalk Program $4 Million
Arterial Preservation Program $14 Million
Small City Arterial Program $12 Million
Small City Sidewalk Program $3 Million
Small City Preservation Program $5 Million
Relight Washington Program $6 Million
Total $131 Million

Interested agencies are encouraged to attend a TIB funding workshop being held throughout the state June 1-11, 2015. If you're not able to attend an in-person workshop, a webinar will be provided for both urban agencies and small cities on June 16, 2015. Workshops provide information about the various funding programs, the scoring criteria for each program and the application process.
