TIB Receives 2008 WSQA Award

March 23, 2009 - Award to be presented October 22, 2009 at WSQA Symposium

From the 2008 WSQA Recipient Announcement: Washington State Transportation Improvement Board – Achievement Level Award The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) funds high priority transportation projects for incorporated cities, towns, and urban areas throughout the state and partners with them to manage construction projects to completion. TIB is a role model in its systematic use of its Performance Management Dashboard, a tool that includes both financial and performance measures that are used throughout the organization. All organizations, regardless of sectors, would benefit from looking at this tool which integrates perfectly into the TIB Balanced Scorecard. By leveraging its core competencies of strategic planning, project management, customer service, and financial management, TIB is providing a sustainable organization that is focused on the future.
