TIB announces 2017 call for projects
Applications due August 18th
The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) is pleased to announce its 2017 Call for Projects. Grant applications are now available. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, August 18, 2017, and grant awards will be announced after the November 17, 2017 board meeting.
Target funding levels have been set by the board. These levels may be altered based on revenue forecasts and legislative outcomes. Funding levels for each program are:

Urban Arterial Program | $75 Million |
Arterial Preservation Program | $10 Million |
Urban Sidewalk Program | $5 Million |
Small City Arterial Program | $15 Million |
Small City Preservation Program | $6 Million |
Small City Sidewalk Program | $3 Million |
Total | $114 Million |
Interested agencies are encouraged to attend one of the TIB funding workshops being held throughout the state June 5-16, 2017. Workshops provide information about the various funding programs, the scoring criteria for each program and the application process. If you're not able to attend an in-person workshop, contact your TIB engineer for any quesitons you have.
