"Currently the roadway subgrade for Warner Avenue is failing causing significant rutting, alligator cracking, and spalling in the existing asphalt. The rutting is causing drainage problems and asphalt spalls have been observed poping out of the roadway surface. A portion of the proposed project will complete the pavement between Watson Avenue and Cooper Lane and allow Warner Avenue to be rechannelized to meet current standards. This street is a major urban collector that serves up to 4,000 daily trips for community residents, businesses, and parks. Completing this project will promote safe and efficient travel for thecommunity using this roadway."
