Existing ConditionsThe existing 300 feet of sidewalk on the west side of SR 505 south of the Silver Street intersection is in poor condition. Curb and gutter along the face of the sidewalk has been damaged by vehicle strikes and needs to be replaced. Behind the sidewalk the existing retaining wall is beginning to overturn and affecting the width of the pedestrian access route(PAR). |

The project will remove and replace the existing sidewalk, traffic curb and retaining wall for 300 feet south of the intersection of Silver Street and SR 505. The new sidewalk will be 5-feet wide to ensure the minimum 4-foot wide PAR. The wall will be replaced with a more robust segmental concrete wall capable of long term use. One new ADA compliant curb ramps will be installed on the southwest corner of the intersection of the Silver Street and SR 505.
