Existing ConditionsSafe and direct pedestrian access is a critical need between a main entrance to Town on NW Madrona Way and the down town businesses. A sidewalk on NW 1st Street will complete a critical pedestrian link in a commercial area of Town.The proposed sidewalk will be a part of the main pedestrian access between N Main Street and essential services and housing for the community on NW 1st Street. |

Extend the existing sidewalk along NW Coveland by adding approximately 100 LF of sidewalk to connect to the wide asphalt shoulder on Madrona that is currently used for pedestrian access to Town. Install approximately 300 LF of concrete sidewalk connecting the existing sidewalk on N Main with that of NW 1st.
