Existing ConditionsThe project will improve the connectivity of pedestrian traffic from residential and commercial areas to the Junior High School and High School located on the south side of A Street SE. It will also improve access to the United States Post Office located on the northeast corner of A Street SE and Spartan Ave and the veterans services located on the southside of A Street SE. The project will complete the pedestrian facilities along the north side of A street SE and S. Blackberry Ave (westside of road). Pedestrian ramps will be brought up to current ADA standards. |

This project proposes to construct approximately 914 feet of sidewalk, ADA ramps, curb gutter and HMA repairs along new curb line for the following streets: Spartan Avenue between E. Division Street. A Street SE between Spartan Ave and S. Blackberry Ave. S. Blackberry Ave. between A Street SE and E. Division Street.
