Existing ConditionsWashington Way North is an essential route, connecting Frontage Rd to Royal Anne Drive and provides critical access route to WSDOT, USBR, and truck scale facilities along the corridor. The roadway sees a high percentage of trucks (over 40%) and is classified as a T-4 truck route. Intersection geometry are obstacles for the truck and vehicle traffic to navigate. The average PCR of the roadway in 2018 was 47. |

The roadway will be pulverized, graded, improved with cement treated base, and pave the roadway. Intersections with Royal Anne Drive and Frontage Road will remove existing traffic islands to better accommodate truck turning movements.
