Existing ConditionsThe existing gravel road provides access to driveways and is not a through street. This creates a barrier between the residential community surrounding Spruce Street and the shopping and services provided on Market Street and Mullis Street. This missing street network connection increases out of direction travel. For residents in this area to reach Market Street, they must either drive an additional 1/3 mile or walk on uneven gravel surfaces. |
