Existing ConditionsThe existing roadway provides access to Zillah's active commercial district that parallels I-82 via the signalized intersection at W. First Ave. (previous TIB-funded project). The existing pavement condition is very poor with significant wheel rutting and areas of severe transverse and alligator cracking evident across the entire roadway section. Sidewalk gaps on the north side, no sidewalk on the south, and poor drainage are additional defeciencies. |
