Existing Conditions

Sumner Ave (US 101) in Aberdeen, WA is designated as a Pacific Coast Scenic Byway and is the primary route for tourists traveling west to the ocean beach cities including Ocean Sores and Seabrook. This is a pedestrian safety improvement project that completes gaps in the sidewalk facilities along Sumner Ave (US 101). The south side of Sumner Ave between Myrtle St and Williams St has significant gaps in the pedestrian facilities.
