The existing walking trail along the southern and eastern edges of the Medina Elementary School property is unpaved, lying between the asphalt wedge curb in the street and school property.

Description of Improvements

The gravel trail will be replaced with an accessible sidewalk, extending the recent improvements on NE 8th St to Overlake Dr. W along 81st Avenue NE. The existing planting strips between the new sidewalk and the asphalt wedge curb will remain.
