The pedestrian access routes in the vicinity of Kalama Elementary are currently incomplete with segments of sidewalk missing at several locations.

Summary of Improvements

Description of Improvements

Extending the sidewalk on South 10th Street from approximately 60 feet south of Date Street to Cedar Street where it will connect with a new sidewalk to be installed in 2023. Sidewalk is also proposed to to be installed on Date Street from the existing terminus at 8th Street to the existing section of sidewalk at 9th street. This would complete the sidewalk network between 8th Street to 10th Street to Cedar Street back to 8th street.
