Project Description

The project proposes construction of curb, sidewalk, and curb ramps. Project will connect to the sidewalk constructed under Phase II, west of Chris St and terminate at the sports courts/park/beach/kayak launch area. The project will include three crosswalks including ADA compliant ramps. Roadway will be narrowed as a traffic calming measure to reduce speeds and promote safety. A pedestrian buffer will also be incorporated to add to increased safety to students, residents and pedestrians. Warren Ave is the primary arterial west of SR-97. The sidewalk constructed along Warren Ave during the previous phases connect this arterial to the commercial district and to the school. This final phase will provide a safe and accessible route for students pedestrians along the full length of Warren Ave.
